HPP522

The Accu-Steer HPP522 is a custom hydraulic power package built to the specific requirements of hydraulic steering systems found in larger vessels. To design a suitable hydraulic steering power package consult with Accu-Steer, Inc.This model (pictured at right) was built for a 150 ft. sailing vessel. The steering system volume was approximately 450 cu. in. The larger valve stack provides oil for the port and starboard autopilot control. The smaller valve stack operates a hydraulic signal to engage and disengage a locking pin which transfers steering control from manual to hydraulic control.

The Accu-Steer HPU Series (HPU300 & HM260 shown) offers selectable 2-speed operation and consists of a continuous running pump set and flow control manifold that is second to none in performance and dependability. Steering systems can range from 20 cu. in. to 125 cu. in. HRP Series

The Accu-Steer HRP Series pump sets are designed to interface hydraulic steering systems with autopilot and electric steering controls. The output flow from the pump set determines the speed of the rudder. These three pumps interface with most autopilots. HRP100

The Accu-Steer HRP100 The Accu-Steer HRP100 pump set is designed to interface hydraulic steering systems with autopilot or electric steering control systems. The output flow from the pump set determines the speed of the rudder. The output flow of the HRP100 is adjustable between 0 and 3.5 cu. in. per second. The pump has built-in pressure relief valves, which are factory set at 500 psi. This pump is recommended for medium-duty applications on hydraulic steering systems that are 50 cu. in. or smaller in volume. The compact and rugged construction provides for easy installation and long life operation. This pump model will interface with most marine autopilot systems.
