Seaview unveiled a new product, the Seaview Cable Glands / Cable Clams, a watertight installation for marine electronic cables. The Seaview Cable Glands / Cable Clams provides waterproof cable routing made of UV stable Glass Filled (GF) ABS plastic, 316 stainless steel or black anodized aluminum. Each style has options for 17mm to 31mm (0.67" to 1.25") connectors, making it ideal for almost every installation.

Says Rob Bright of Pacific Yacht Management, "The Seaview cable gland model CG30AB that we use is ideal, easy to install and matches the other Yamaha and Uflex through holes. This is a new product that improves on other designs, looks good and works well."
Each Seaview Cable Gland / Cable Clam is supplied with a blank rubber seal that has a molded location to drill and cut. Captive nuts make for easy assembly. Cable connectors do not need to be removed during installation.

A choice of material make it possible for stock options including the UV stable grey glass fiber filled ABS plastic, black anodized aluminum or high polished 316 stainless steel. The company also offers custom finishes such as carbon, wood grain, various colors, etc. Just about any finish is an option.
